How We Rate Platforms

Every rating on CryptoBets.com is based on hands-on testing with real cryptocurrency. No paid placements, no demo accounts, no guesswork.

Testing Process

  1. Real deposit: We fund each platform with our own cryptocurrency (typically BTC, ETH, and one altcoin).
  2. Feature walkthrough: We test every major feature: games/markets, bonuses, support, mobile experience, and account management.
  3. Withdrawal timing: We request a withdrawal and time it from submission to wallet confirmation.
  4. Security audit: We check licensing, encryption (SSL/TLS), 2FA options, cold storage claims, and KYC procedures.
  5. Scoring: We rate each category on a 1-10 scale and apply category-specific weights to compute the overall score.

Category Weights

Different platform types are scored differently. A casino weights game variety more heavily; an exchange weights fees and security more heavily. This reflects what matters most to users of each platform type.

Re-Testing Cadence

We re-test every platform at least once per quarter. If a platform makes significant changes (new bonus terms, licensing changes, security incidents), we re-test immediately. Ratings are living scores, not fixed assessments.

Independence

Platforms cannot pay for a higher score. We rank platforms that don't have affiliate programs. If a platform performs poorly in testing, we say so regardless of commercial relationships. Read our editorial policy for more detail.

Affiliate Disclosure: CryptoBets.com earns commissions from qualifying signups through affiliate links. This does not influence our ratings or rankings, which are based on independent testing. Learn more.
